54 percent optimistic about reinstatement of deposed judges: Aaj poll

Aaj.tv has conducted an opinion poll on the judges' issue. According to its online poll, 54 percent of voters are optimistic about restoration or deposed judges, while 42 percent are doubtful over the prospects of reinstatement of these judges.
However, only four percent of the voters expressed no opinion by using the 'don't know' option. The issue of deposed judges has become a hot topic of conversation. It is one of the biggest challenges that the new coalition government is facing since its formation six week ago. The coalition partners, particularly PPP and PML-N, have had several rounds of talks and set deadlines but have failed to evolve consensus on the restoration of pre November 3 judiciary.
The poll was placed on the website in April during which the coalition leaders held important meetings and assured people that the deposed judges would be restored by the deadlines that they had set over the past so many weeks.
